Amanat Ali, 20, entered SaReGaMa Viswa Yudh directly without any audition, as he was the winner of the contest in Dubai for the Middle East and Pakistan.

"The first time when I performed in India I was not nervous at all. I got a standing ovation from all the mentors," he says

He learnt ghazals and is also one of the members of a popular band called Meekal Hasan in Pakistan.

"My father is a singer and my uncle a famous religious singer in Pakistan. We have learnt the technique of playback singing," he says.

Ali has sung for Bappida in Junoonand also in Balaganesha with Asha Bhosle, Shankar Mahadevan and Sadana Sargam.

But the singer never thought he would get the chance to perform in front of Salman Khan. "He is adorable and I will never forget the experience," he adds.

"Life has changed after the show. I have got stardom and it feels good. I am enjoying it," he concludes.
