Playing a suicide bomber must have been exhausting.
No, not at all! In fact, the minute I heard the script, I agreed because it's very rare for an actress to get such a role. It is not one of those mundane, stereotypical roles that most heroines are expected to play today.
I was very excited at the prospect of playing a suicide bomber. It was something different. It didn't drain me out because I don't take things personally nor do I carry my work home.
I have the ability to switch on and off.
In that sense, I have done a worse film like Matrubhoomi. I think it depends on your rapport and wavelength with the director since it contributes a great deal in characterisation.
Personally, I feel suicide is the worst thing you can do to yourself.
Pooja Bhatt is known to be a hard taskmaster.
Pooja is very particular about certain things. You have to 'deliver' when you're working with her. She projects her films beautifully and has a great sense of art direction. She is very clear about what she wants and so does Maheshji. I share a good rapport with her, even off screen. We got along pretty well. I enjoyed working with her.
