On the sets of Adoor's new film

Kavya had some free time, and she started talking to me. At this moment, the children, who had maintained distance while shooting was underway, suddenly surged towards us.

In their excitement to see Kavya up close, they almost fell on my chair. First they silently listened to us talk and then began chattering among themselves, trying their best to grab Kavya's attention.

Meanwhile, Kavya was ruing that serious filmmakers had been ignoring her. "I was very sad till I got this chance. Now, I can confidently say I am acting in Adoor Sir's film, the honour that even Lalettan (Mohanlal) hasn't got yet. I think this is the highpoint of my career. I am over the moon now," she said.

According to her, the only difference between acting in commercial films and those of Adoor's was that "I am asked to walk slow and deliver my dialogues slowly. If I am a bit slow in the commercial films, they tell me, 'Don't act as if you are acting in an art film.' Yesterday, Adoor Sir asked me to slow down. Today, he is happy with what I am doing."
