Sanjaya's dinner with George Bush
Sanjaya may have been a huge phenomenon, but he was not the most liked.
Radio talk show host Howard Stern had asked his listeners to vote for Sanjaya -- seen in the picture with model Petra Nemcova -- so that he could win. Stern hates the show, and said if Sanjaya won, it could collapse.
Idol judge Simon Cowell had said earlier that if Sanjaya won, he would not be part of American Idol in the next season.
