Here comes Sivaji, the Boss
Nothing much is known about Sivaji except that Rajni plays Sivaji, the Boss. Shankar has always made films on social issues.
In an interview to rediff.com just before the release of Anniyan, he had said, "It is not necessary for a film to convey messages. Cinema is a form of art. It should convey emotions. But if there is a message, then well and good! It will help society. It's like food, in that some foods are tasty and yet will do no good to your health. On the other hand, there are others which are healthier. Some kinds of food could be healthy yet bitter. This film is like a food item that is both tasty and good for your health."
If the story of Sivaji is anything like Anniyan where the protagonist fought against injustice in society, Sivaji can be more explosive. And the film may even outdo Chandramukhi.
