This little gem of a film was a treat, and what made it so special was Vijay Raaz's rendering of the lower middle-class man, completely in love with, and in awe of, a television screen character. That the character was of an archetypal sacrificing bahu in a serial, akin to the saas-bahu drones on television, made it even more hilarious.

Raghu is however enamored by the beauty and the self-sacrificing nature of the character, and when the character is in danger on the show, he decides to kidnap the actress to protect her. Watch out for the scene in the end, where Raaz cries like a baby with the character on her death bed. A wonderfully written role, with an equally praise-worthy performance.
