"After that, I never looked back," says Sameera of her career.
The busy actress is also quick to point out that she is up to date with current affairs -- her home page is The Economic Times Web site because she enjoys reading about business and corporate happenings. Does she also chat online? "Never," comes the snap answer. "I cannot relate to the virtual world."
As an actress, doesn't she feel her recent films have seen her being overshadowed by male co-stars? She disagrees. But Taxi No 9211 was heralded as a John Abraham-Nana Patekar film, and even the upcoming Naksha is being projected more as a Sunny Deol-Vivek Oberoi film. "I disagree with that statement," says Sameera. "I played an important role in 9211 and it's the same with Naksha, where I play a TV presenter. I am part of the search team headed by Sunny and Vivek."
