Doing the Deol dance

Abhay Deol may be two films old, after Socha Na Tha and Ahista Ahista. But surprisingly, he has never had a full-blown dance number yet.

So when he was asked to dance in his forthcoming film, Ek Chalis Ki Last Local with costar Neha Dhupia, he was understandably nervous.

The song in question is Laari Chootein, the film's promotional number, which was being filmed at Kamalistan (in Andheri, a Mumbai's suburb).

Abhay explains, "I'm not that talented or stylish and confident about myself. But when I met Ganeshji (Acharya, choreographer), he made me comfortable. He knows my brothers (Sunny and Bobby Deol) and that came handy."

Acharya was apparently going to shot the song in three days. But when Abhay told him that he had never danced before, the choreographer agreed on rehearsing for a couple of days first.
