Vishal-Mamta sizzle in Sivappathikaram

Mamta, a Malayali model from Bangalore, entered the Malayalam film industry as Mamta Mohandas in Hariharan's Mayookham, which was followed by Jayaraj's yet to be released Atbhutham.

But the film that catapulted her to dizzy heights was Lanka, where she starred with Suresh Gopi. She played a blind Sri Lankan, and it wasn't her histrionic skills that made her famous but her 'daring' scenes. While other Malayalam heroines do not bare, Mamta dared to do a three-minute kissing scene (in which she plants cyanide into Suresh Gopi's mouth).

This svelte youngster was then offered Sivappathikaram and, now, has been flooded with offers from Tamil and Telugu. A trained classical singer, she is also said to be debuting as a singer in Telugu.
