'Every day I write a letter to my mother'
This is Amitabh's first trip to Munnar. "It is fascinating. Every day, I write a letter to my mother (Teji Bachchan) describing the beauty of Munnar," says the original Angry Young Man who has made one of the most fascinating comebacks in movie history.
"This (writing to his mother) is a habit I have continued for many years."
On the table of his room there are some 20 letters that he has written and faxed to his mother.
If he loves, writing, does he also write poetry? "I am not a poet. But I have a poetic mind," pat comes the reply.
Someone from the small group of photographers around him asks: "Is Abhishek Bachchan's marriage to Aishwarya Rai fixed?"
"I am also reading all the news concerning their marriage. These are all rumours now. I have nothing to say," he says.
