The sequel to Munnabhai MBBS is ready for release on August 25 this year.
The much-hyped film is now tentatively titled Munnabhai Lage Raho.
Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra was apparently keen on the name Munnabhai 2nd Innings but that did not happen as a poll showed people preferred Lage Raho.
"About 83 per cent of people voted for Munnabhai Lage Raho compared to Munnabhai 2nd Innings," says a source.
Earlier, the film was titled Munnabhai Meets The Mahatma but the producers wanted to steer clear of controversy, and changed the name.
One of the most-awaited films of the year, the sequel sees the original cast -- Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani -- return, and they are joined by Vidya Balan and Dia Mirza. Like the original, the sequel is directed by Raju Hirani.
Let's hope the laughs are as good too!
