Reese Witherspoon bagged the Best Actress award for Walk The Line. Reese played June Carter Cash in the Johnny Cash biopic.
In her acceptance speech, Reese thanked everyone from her parents to her costar Joaquin Phoenix, inbetween sobs. Phoenix lost his Best Actor award to Hoffman.
