Born in Chicago and raised in Cleveland, Howard is no stranger to the acting profession either.
His great grandmother was a New York stage actress. After receiving a degree in chemical engineering, Howard was discovered on a street in NY and began getting small roles on TV shows.
His big break into cinema came with a role in 1995's hit, Mr Holland's Opus.
Crash (left), came a decade later, with critics raving about Terrence's raw on-screen energy that scorched the screen.
