Namaste London is about how first generation Indians living abroad want to instil Indian values on to the next generation.
It is rumoured that the story idea was Akshay's as he realised this was a common problem faced by Indian families abroad.
The actor, meanwhile, is on a career high. His 2006 film Phir Hera Pheri was a blockbuster while the newer release Bhagam Bhag is already doing good business.
He has also rumoured to have sign a film with Yash Raj Films after a gap of ten years since his cameo in Dil Toh Pagal Hai.
