Shirish Kunder's strength as a storyteller makes Jaan-E-Mann one of the best movies of 2006.

The film unfolds in a simple and concise manner, is unlike most Hindi films. The large-scale sets and Anu Malik's soothing music are bonuses. Excellent performances from the lead cast (Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta) enhance the film.
