I was very absent minded in my childhood, and once, this got me into trouble during Raksha Bandhan!
My sister and I were at a tailor's shop getting a pair of jeans altered. While the tailor was taking my measurements, my sister went over to the next shop.
After I was done, I went straight to our car and drove back home, completely forgetting about my sister!
I felt very bad when I realised my mistake and immediately went back to the shop to pick her up. But by then, the damage had been done. She was so angry that she refused to talk to me. Only after a lot of coaxing and cajoling did she agree to tie the rakhi on my wrist.
