"I play a character called Dick -- a photographer who has lost his eyes and comes to Mumbai for an eye operation. He is very loud and colourful. He thinks that as he cannot see a girl, it doesn't matter whether she is ugly or dark. He gets beaten by a lot of them, embarrassing Tom and Harry in the process."

"Normally, the blind are very mellow, but Dick is just the opposite. For the movie Naina, I visited a school for the blind to prepare for the role. I revisited them for this one."

"Celina is an absolute darling. You meet her for the first time and she greets you with a smile. My first shot with her was when she comes to the house with a box of sweets and asks me to come for an inauguration ceremony. I fall in love with her right there and, as I am alone with her, hold her hand to thank her. There is a comedy sequence here when I hold Rakesh Bedi's hand instead of hers. She was in splits when we enacted that scene," says Saawhney.

The actor will next be seen in September, in Brides Wanted with Waheeda Rehman and Girish Karnad. He has signed two more films, but is not ready to talk about them yet.
