Harold Perrineau Jr.: Michael
He is known, in certain Hollywood circles, as the actor willing to take on any role. A look at what he's done in the past proves it.
Perrineau studied music and theatre at the Shenandoah Conservatory, beginning his career as a dancer before moving to theatre. From there, he started appearing on TV in programmes such as The Cosby Show and Law & Order. An impressive role came with Smoke, a much-acclaimed film by Wayne Wang where he played a young man in search of his father. When he followed this up by playing Mercutio in Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet, his career kicked into high gear.
The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions came to him, followed by Woman On Top (where he played a drag queen) and the HBO series Oz, where he played a paraplegic prisoner. See what they mean about all kinds of roles?
