Daisy hails from Bangalore and moved to Mumbai to pursue a film career. She has featured in Kannada films and done English theatre before Garam Masala came her way. She is also a qualified artist and holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree. "I did an award winning film in Kannada called Bimba in 2001. It was about the film industry and is similar to Page 3," says Daisy, who has also done a Telugu film called Relax.

Prakash Jaju, who was Priyanka Chopra's secretary before they had a spat over payment issues, is now managing Daisy's career. Besides Garam Masala, Daisy is also looking forward to her Kannada movie, Rama Shama Bhama, which marks the return of Kamal Haasan to Kannada cinema after 20 years.

The film will release on October 7 and, not surprisingly, Daisy is 'really looking forward to that!'
