Garam Masala leads Diwali pack

This Diwali saw three big films hit theatres, including two by the same director, Priyadarshan.

But the much-awaited Diwali releases haven't really sent the box office soaring. Kyon Ki opened very poorly, and shows no signs of picking up. Shaadi No 1 managed a decent first day in a few metros, but is currently playing to largely empty shows.

Garam Masala is the only film that has had audiences lined up for tickets. Looks like it's an Akshay Kumar-John Abraham Diwali after all.

Note: Films are ranked according to their release dates.
