Robert Redford said she was "13 going on 30", after he worked with her in his acclaimed, The Horse Whisperer.
No wonder Scarlett Johansson carried off the 20-year old Charlotte in Sofia Coppola's Lost In Translation, with such aplomb. She was only 17 then. Scarlett is 20 now.
In Match Point, she is Nola Rice, the aspiring actress who has an affair with tennis pro Chris Wilton (Rhys-Meyers). Chris is married to wealthy heiress Chloe Hewitt (Emily Mortimer).
Of her role in Match Point, Scarlett said, at the press conference, "I don't know necessarily that she's [Nola] a femme fatale. I think she's a sexy girl, but she seems to be surviving any way she can. I think she's sensual and, as any woman will, when you see something you want you go after it or not. It's kind of always there that you have these feminine wiles which just don't go away."
