My favourite author is Paulo Coelho. After The Alchemist, I have read all his books. I like Kahlil Gibran. Everything (he writes) is so deep; it makes you think so much.

Music is something you listen to according to your mood. I like everything from rock to Ghulam Ali's ghazals!

At home, I am a spoilt brat! My mother pampers us. I love watching films. I watch a lot of foreign films at home. I saw Run Lola Run four years ago, and since then have been hooked onto foreign films.

I watch my own movies. Sometimes I think I could have done a certain scene better. I watch all Hindi movies. You have to know the people you are going to work with tomorrow.

I always discuss my films with my parents. The script has to really excite me. When I sign a movie, I first think about whether I would watch it in a theatre. I always think from the audience's perspective.
