Matt Damon beat Tobey Maguire's Pete (Spider-Man 2) routine, Tom Cruise's ruthless Vincent (Collateral), Johnny Depp's J M Barrie (Finding Neverland), and Jim Carrey (Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind) to win Best Actor for his work as Jason Bourne in The Bourne Supremacy, which also scooped up the honours for Best Film.
