I'm from Delhi, and 19 years old. I'm doing a BA in Music from the Faculty of Music and Fine Art.

I was doing stage shows before coming here, at a college level and for some societies and event management companies.

In Delhi our audition was postponed. First it was supposed to be on May 10. Then they said it would be on May 16. The audition was actually held on May 24. We had three rounds and only 25 people were selected from there.

For the audition, I sang Mera Rang De Basanti, then Kal Ho Naa Ho. Finally, I sang one of my self-compositions, a ghazal called Raaz Maat Puchh Muskurane Ka.

I have a brother and sister, but I am the eldest. My parents have been supporting me as there the music business is expensive.
