The Supreme Court has dismissed a petition challenging a Bombay High Court order staying the release of the movie Black Friday, which was scheduled to hit theatres on January 28. The petition had been filed by Mid-Day Multimedia, the producers of the controversial film.
The court said the high court had given an interim stay till February 3 and that the petitioner should approach the high court for appropriate relief.
Black Friday is based on the 1993 serial bomb blasts in Mumbai.
