People tell me that I play too unsafe, but I don’t think so.

I have played negative roles, which worked for me. If you look back, Karam didn’t work, but Aitraaz did. Then, Yakeen didn’t work.

I want to explore myself as an actor. I would get bored if my favourite actor does the same thing in every film. I follow the same rule.

I want my fans to wonder what I will do in my next film. I want people to get excited by my characters.

Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) once said that even if you have one line to deliver in a film, you must do it with conviction, and people will remember you for that.

The length of the role does not matter, but the impact is important.
