Amitabh Bachchan

Working with Amitji was a dream come true. I am one of the millions admiring Amitji ever since I was a kid. I love everything he does. And I love him equally, if not more, as a person. He is extremely supportive. I told myself to take a chance and ask him. If he were to refuse, at least I would not have regreted not asking him.

I sang Kabhi nahin, and he liked it. When I told him I wanted him to sing with me, he laughed and said the vocal range was too high for him. I insisted, and he asked me to leave the CD with him so he could try it out. After a few days, he called me and agreed to do it. I was just over the moon with that news!

We had such a blast recording the song. If we'd just made a video of the making of the song, it would have been as entertaining as the video itself because there were just certain things he did -- the expressions with which he sang were so memorable and still fresh in my mind. For me, it was a wonderful opportunity to just see how he makes that magic happen -- how he charges himself up before a shot.

He is full of humour. When he walks in, you feel he is a complete entertainer. It's a great honour to work with him, and this is something I will cherish all my life.
