A fine actor, Colin has been steadily climbing up Hollywood's A-list, but isn't reckoned in the really stellar bracket yet.

A dark haired Irishman, Stone has dyed him frighteningly blonde, stuck him atop a mighty steed, and he looks about as powerful warrior as Cacofonix in the middle of the war against the Romans.

Farrell is puny compared to warrior muscle, and isn't lithe enough to look graceful in combat. Perhaps he might be compelling in the homosexual love scenes so integral to the film, but it feels impossible to imagine the Great being played by an actor once rejected from Boyzone!
