I wasn't as a child. I was in boarding school, so no films! I discovered films in Standard 8. I loved Rekha in Umrao Jaan. And I loved Smita Patil. Even if she stood quietly in a frame, you couldn't take your eyes off her. Even stillness was a movement for her.

I love different actors in different phases of my life. I love the middle-of-the-road actors like Sanjeev Kumar, Amol Palekar, Farooque Sheikh...

Among recent films, I liked Murder and Dhoom. I'd love to work with Anurag Basu and Sanjay Gadhvi. I loved John Abraham and Uday Chopra in Dhoom. I'd want to be in an action film like Dhoom.

I think I should do an action film next!
