"I am doing a film called Waqt with Amitji, where my character is very close to what I'm like in real life.

My next film will be Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo, where I play a prisoner of war trapped for three years in Pakistan. The best part is that it isn't another India v/s Pakistan film. It's India with Pakistan versus terrorism! Pakistani soldiers help us so that the Amarnath Yatra goes off peacefully.

You must remember an incident where Pakistani and Indian Intelligence worked together to and a few drug dealers in Kashmir. We have expanded the same story idea and worked on it.

I wouldn't act in any film or do anything that'll hurt someone else's sentiments and affect our friendship with Pakistan. Manipulative politicians have divided the people of the countries.

We should try not to ignite the problem, but instead concentrate on friendship. Based on that I decided to work in this film."
