Cinema fans, especially those of the British variety, can firmly stick tongue in cheek; this one's no exception. However, after seeing the events of last year unfold, this name heading the list is hardly a great shock.

1. George W Bush, from Fahrenheit 9/11.

Decried by some critics as equally deplorable as Hitler, the president of the United States was shown in the most unflattering light in this documentary, which was certainly not an unbiased effort.

Yet Michael Moore's film had some undeniable truth, and several scenes in this portrayal scared the hell out of audiences worldwide when they realised just who was sitting on the world's most powerful position.

And then there's the grammar.

George W Bush: [facing the camera] I call upon all nations to do everything they can to stop these terrorist killers. Thank you.

[brandishes a golf club]

George W Bush: Now, watch this drive.

Frightening indeed.
