It is well in the Harry Potter tradition to include top British acting talent. That explains the presence of Alan Rickman who plays the harsh, sneering Professor Snape (here, he proudly displays a poster).

Other stars are Robbie Coltrane as Hagrid, the gentle giant, David Thewlis as Professor Lupin, and acclaimed actress Emma Thompson (Howards End, Love Actually, Much Ado About Nothing, Sense And Sensibility), who does a funny turn as the divination teacher Sibyll Trelawney.

Thewlis is all praise for Daniel Radcliffe, about whom he says, 'He's fantastic, remarkably sane and quite eccentric. He's quite the little punk, and so self-deprecating. We used to joke that he'd be in rehab by the time he was 18, and by 27, he'd be hosting a game show called, It's Wizards! He's very funny.'
