I am currently shooting for Vaastu Shastra. It is directed by Saurab Narang and produced by Ram Gopal Varma. It also stars Sushmita Sen, Chakravarti and a four year-old boy. The film revolves around this family of four. The fifth character is the house we live in.

My character’s name is Radhika. She’s a very simple, sweet and quiet girl. She has a boyfriend [Purab Kohli]. The film will be completed by June. It is shot entirely in Mumbai.

This is my third Ram Gopal Varma film. Bhoot was a two-minute role [Peeya played Victor Banerjee’s dying daughter]. I did that for experience. The writer [Sameer Sharma] and cameraman [Vishal Sinha] of Bhoot were my friends and that is how I got the role.

After Bhoot, I did Darna Mana Hai and after that, Vaastu Shastra. Each time, my role is getting bigger and bigger.

Ramu is a very quiet and reserved person. I don’t know if I am another ‘discovery’ of Ramu like Aftab or Urmila.

I haven’t reached a stage where I can choose my films. Till now, it has all come to me. I don’t even know how to choose films.

My life hasn’t changed much. I don’t go out much. I am usually with my family or my old friends and they behave the same with me. But I have started watching people closely. The more I watch people, the more I pick up different mannerisms.
