Naomi Watts looked lovely in a gold-sequinned gown. She was accompanied by her partner, Heath Ledger. Nominated in the best actress category for 21 Grams, Watts says, "I have butterflies in my stomach." She added that the "Aussies [back home] are pretty much overwhelmed' by her nomination.
