This year, besides sports veterans, the Olympic torch was carried by Hindi film personalities as well.

Aishwarya Rai, Bipasha Basu, Aamir Khan, and Vivek Oberoi relayed the torch, which arrived in New Delhi on June 10 at 1000 IST.

While Vivek ran around Humayun's Tomb, Bipasha took over from the Red Fort. Ash ran with the torch at Janpath and Aamir continued down Rajpath.

The torch was carried over 33 kilometres by more than 100 runners, before making its way to Cairo for its African run.

It will return to Greece on July 9 and enter the Olympic Stadium in Athens to light the cauldron on August 13.
