Julie was a conscious decision to 'do something different'.
"The first time [in Qayamat] I was slotted into the whole deal of being part of a multi-starrer clan," says Neha. "I wanted to do something different. I got an opportunity. I took it up and gave it a 100 per cent."
Her next assignment is Mahesh Manjrekar's Rakht, again a multi-starrer, featuring Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Bipasha Basu, Dino Morea, and Amrita Arora. "I play somebody who is tortured by domestic violence," she says. "It's a supernatural thriller." Other films in the pipeline include Phir Hera Pheri and Kya Cool Hain Hum.
"Give your 100 per cent. Whether you are working or with family and friends. Even if you are sleeping, you should give it your 100 per cent. It's really important to be honest to yourself. Believe in yourself," she says firmly.
That's a typical Miss India reply, we rib. "No, I really do believe that," she smiles.
