Although Neha shrugs all that exposure off as "no big deal", she later admits in a soft tone, "I was very uncomfortable when the scenes were told to me." But adds quickly, "When I understood [my character], I did a lot of story reading with him [director Deepak Shivdasani]. We did about two or three months of workshop to learn the script and character."

When she finally went on the sets, she avoided the "excess baggage" of thoughts like 'Oh my God, what is he going to say?' or 'What is that person going to think?' or 'What are the promos going to look like?' or 'What is the film going to be like?'
