Paap is a small-budget film. Apparently, the actress-filmmaker wanted to film in Ladakh. But the location meant more costs and Pooja settled for Spiti in Himachal Pradesh.

Incidentally, Pooja had wanted her earlier film Jism, to be shot in Goa. But in order to cut down on expenses, they zeroed in Pondicherry.

Paap, which was shot in 48 days, will hit the marquee on January 30.
