Aishwarya Rai has had a very eventful 2003. And one of the major events was her signing the film Chaos, opposite Hollywood actress Meryl Streep.

The film is about Ash, a prostitute, who gets beaten severely by her pimp in front of Streep and her husband. While the couple flee from the scene, Meryl feels guilty later and helps Ash recover. The women then team up and plan Ash's freedom. Meanwhile, Streep refuses to return to her selfish husband.
