Director Milan Luthria debuted in 1999 with a road thriller Kachche Dhaage that was appreciated for its fast pace and action sequences. However, his romantic tale Chori Chori (2003) failed to make an impression. He now returns with a Prisoner of War drama where a civilian joins an armyman to rescue his father from the Pakistan army.
