Writer-director Sudhir Mishra's cult political thriller, based on the relationship between three students and how the Emergency and the Naxalite movement affect their lives, has been selected for the Berlin International Film Festival 2004. It was also part of the River to River International Film Festival, Florence, last year. Mishra's Chameli releases January 9.
