It's been a steady climb, and this year Rani has been diverse enough to star in two of the year's biggest box-office hits, and even get a tremendous critical reception in her one release that flopped!

Picking her roles with extreme caution, Rani's roster included a brilliant performance in Mani Ratnam's Yuva; complete Bollywood masti in Kunal Kohli's smash hit Hum Tum; and all the best bits of dialogue in Yash Chopra's blockbuster Veer-Zaara.

Quality, not quantity. Indeed, Rani. Well played.
