The second film from the Jeyam team, consisting of father (editor) Mohan, elder son (director) Jeyam Raja, and (actor) Jeyam Ravi. It was after the success of Jeyam that the brothers added the prefix Jeyam to their names.

Their second film after Jeyam, a family entertainer starring Nadia Moidu and Ravi as mother and son, has appealed to audiences. Unlike the usual mother-son sentimental films, both the mother and son in this movie were New Age folk -- they joke, fight and discuss everything under the sun including the son's love life.

People seemed to like the mother-son duo, and the movie was a big success.
