Hundreds of fans, huge cardboard cut outs, multi-coloured balloons and an anxious red carpet at Mumbai's suburban theatre Fun Republic, welcomed the stars at the premiere of Sanjay Gupta's latest directorial venture, Musafir.

Produced by Sanjay Dutt and Gupta under the banner, White Feather Films, the stylish action drama co-stars Dutt along with Anil Kapoor, Aditya Panscholi, Sameera Reddy, Mahesh Manjrekar and Koena Mitra.

Friends and business partners, Dutt and Gupta have earlier collaborated on films like Aatish, Kaante and Plan. The latter two was produced under their banner.

In Musafir, Dutt plays a self-styled drug lord named Billa who will not stop at anything to reclaim his money from Lucky (Anil Kapoor).

The dashing Dutt graciously exchanged pleasantries with the media and his colleagues. Though it was hard to miss a slight indication of anxiety regarding the reactions Musafir would evoke the box-office.
