Now we come to Hollywood's true superstar. The woman with the dazzling smile has officially been the first to break into a men's only $20 million club, and she certainly deserves it.

The year 2004 has seen the actress discard her usual garb of sunshine and primrose to don darker shades for Mike Nichols' near-nihilistic Closer. Just to not give the box-office an entire miss, though, Julia can also be seen reprising her Tess Ocean character in Steven Soderbergh's sequel, Ocean's Twelve. She'll probably trade places next year with Diaz, as the new mother of twins says she'll take a break.
