Here is the story of a 'broken relationship', reports People magazine.
Of actress Sandra Bullock, John Bullock (her father), M B 'Benny' Daneshjou (the home developer who is now suing Bullock for the money he claims she owes him); and her Texas mansion.
The story began in 1997 when Bullock signed an agreement to construct her 5,500 square feet home. Daneshjou's attorney Robert MacInnes claims the house almost doubled in size because of 'significant changes in design.'
Bullock wanted the construction to start immediately so she could use it for her sister's wedding and throw a grand millennium party.
Things did not quite happen as fast as she expected. In stepped John Bullock, who, People says, threatened Daneshjou, saying, 'You get that house built by the millennium party or you will never build another house again.'
Meanwhile, Sandra Bullock's attorney Walter Mizell alleged that Daneshjou's keenness to complete building his own house by 2000 delayed the Bullock project.
Mizell also pointed out to the 'multitude of problems' in the construction -- the unsafe framing of the home, the leaky slate roof and the windows that do not lock properly.
Bullock has also referred to Daneshjou's 'questionable billing practices.' She has sued the latter for $4 million.
And the house is still undone.
