Kareena plays: Aaliya, a Muslim girl in love with Farhan (Fardeen). The couple suffer in the communal riots and the brave Aaliya takes it upon herself to become a police witness.

Trivia: Fardeen is one of Kareena's closest friends in the industry. The duo developed a great rapport during Khushi as a result of which Kareena recommened him to Nihalani. The duo will star again in Fida, which releases on August 20.
