As the show got over and hundreds of guests rushed to the Spirit Club for a post premiere party, the producers were getting ready for the reviews.

“If critics come to this show with an open mind to enjoy a musical comedy, they would go home happy,” said Anita Waxman. “But we know in our hearts that this show has everything Americans love in a musical theatre from high emotions to romance and conflict, and a wonderful score.”

“Many years ago I saw The King And I, and it opened my eyes to an entirely different culture,” she said. “I was enthralled. I wanted to know more about Thailand. And now we have Bombay Dreams, and I want the world to share our amazement at this show, and discover a colourful and vibrant culture.”
