What's the deal: In Shrek, an ogre, finds his fairy tale come true. In Shrek 2, the ogre accompanied by his new wife Fiona and best friend, a talking donkey, visits his in-laws. The trio also bumps into Prince Charming and Puss-in-Boots.

The hit animation flick won the audience's vote by its 'one of a kind' appeal in 2001. The sequel to the Oscar-winning movie promises kickass action, Shrek-style, with new characters and more adventures.

Shrek is also set to compete at the 57th Cannes Film Festival against The Ladykillers and Troy.
