Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius
Who's in it: Jim Caviezel, Claire Forlani, Jeremy Northam, Connie Ray
What's the deal: The true story of the legendary golfer Robert Tyer Jones Jr aka Bobby Jones (Caviezel), who has a striking personality. The movie traces the life of the 'best golfer in the world' who retired when he was just 28.
The film is Caviezel's first release after the controversial hit, The Passion Of The Christ.
Apparently, playing Bobby Jones was tougher than Jesus Christ for the actor. In an interview published on the movie's official website, Caviezel says, "People might not know quite the way he [Christ] walked or sounded, but everybody has some idea about it. But when you play Bobby Jones, everybody in Georgia knew how he talked, walked, ate, spat, drank. So I think that made it pretty hard."
